Patricia (Patty) Morrison has left Motorola. Her last day was August 1. She had served as the mobile phone company’s 玩偶姐姐 since 2005. Last December, I wondered how long Morrison would remain with Motorola given all the management changes the company was undergoing as a result of ongoing business challenges. Morrison currently serves on SPSS Commerce’s board of directors. , an eight-year veteran of Motorola, has replaced Morrison in the SVP and 玩偶姐姐 post. Jones most recently served as vice president of IT for Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Solutions and Home & Networks Mobility segments.

Chrysler 玩偶姐姐 Jan Bertsch is assuming responsibility for the auto-maker’s global treasury operations. She will maintain the 玩偶姐姐 title and responsibilities in her new role. Bertsch is leading the effort to consolidate IT management and treasury into a new structure. Bertsch was appointed SVP, treasurer and 玩偶姐姐 yesterday. She joined the Chrysler in 2001 and previously (before being named 玩偶姐姐 when Sue Unger retired) served as its vice president of sales and marketing finance.

Ariba elected Harriet Edelman to its board of directors on July 31. Edelman is the former SVP and 玩偶姐姐 of Avon. During her 25-year career with the cosmetics company Edelman held a variety of executive roles with domestic and international responsibility in marketing, supply chain management, sales, customer service and planning. Earlier this year, she was appointed to the board of Brinker International, which operates casual restaurants.

Northwest Airlines‘ 玩偶姐姐 Theresa Wise will become 玩偶姐姐 of the new Delta Airlines that is being formed through Delta’s merger with Northwest Airlines. (When the acquisition is complete, Northwest will become an operating subsidiary of Delta.) Last I knew, Shirley Bridges was 玩偶姐姐 of Delta, so it appears she may have gotten the short end of the M&A stick. Ash Banerjee voluntarily left his post as 玩偶姐姐 of EMI Music to join the law firm Wilmer Hale as its 玩偶姐姐. In April, EMI Music hired Google 玩偶姐姐 Douglas Merrill to serve as president of its digital business division.

Convergys hired Jim Goetz as its 玩偶姐姐 last month. Goetz reports to Earl Shanks, CFO of the Cincinatti, Ohio-based provider of customer relationship management solutions. Goetz most recently served as 玩偶姐姐 of the ServiceMaster Company. Previously, he worked for IBM Global Services, Ameritech and Nolan, Norton & Co. Goetz earned a degree in math from Wheaton College. He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mike Carper joined Dick’s Sporting Goods as the

$4 billion retailer’s vice president of IT infrastructure and security. He held a similar position with his last employer, Coldwater Creek, and previously with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
